Framing Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Rivercity Picture Framers. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and purchase of products or services from us, whether in‑store or online. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide custom and ready‑made picture framing, printing, mounting, and related art presentation products (“Services”). Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.

3. Quotations and Orders

• All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

• Acceptance of a quote constitutes an order.

• For custom work, a 50 % deposit is required before production begins, with the balance due upon collection or before dispatch.

4. Payment

• All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include 15 % GST unless specified otherwise.

• Payment may be made by EFTPOS, credit card, or bank transfer.

• Goods remain our property until payment is received in full.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Orders for custom frames or prints cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started.

• Ready‑made frames may be returned within 7 days of purchase in original condition and packaging for exchange or refund (less shipping).

• Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method.

6. Warranty and Defects

• We take care to ensure all products are of high quality. Please inspect goods on receipt or collection.

• In the event of damage or defect, notify us within 48 hours.

• If confirmed as faulty, we will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.

• This warranty excludes damage caused by mishandling, exposure to moisture or sunlight, or alterations not made by us.

7. Delivery and Collection

• An estimated production time is advised at the time of order.

• Courier delivery includes tracking. Delays caused by third‑party carriers are outside our control.

• Please collect completed orders within 30 days of notification to avoid storage fees.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, layouts, and marketing materials created by Rivercity Picture Framers remain our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without written consent.

9. Privacy

We collect and store customer information only to process orders and provide services. Personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and will not be shared without consent, except where required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rivercity Picture Framers is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the goods or services in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of New Zealand.
